Outfit Post: This is Me.

Striped top and Coral button-up: Walmart. Skirt: H&M. Shoes: Payless. Bracelet: NY&Company. Necklace: I can't remember (Very old).

A few things:
1.) I love this outfit. It's what I like to call a very "Nicole" outfit. The striped top, the turquoise and the coral together. Just love it.
2.) You might laugh or look down on me...but both of these shirts are from Walmart. YUP, good ole Wally's World. I don't normally shop at Walmart for clothes, but I was passing through a few weeks ago and this coral top caught my eye...and it was $12 (SOLD). Then I saw this striped shirt, and it was only $6 (SOLD again). So basically, I don't discriminate. Sure I like nice things, but honestly I could care less what the label on my clothes says as long as I like it. (Plus I'm a poor 23 year-old trying to move into NYC. The cheaper the better).
3.) Sorry for the poor picture quality. I have no idea why they're so blurry.
4.) Apparently I need some new picture poses that don't involve me looking DOWN (woops)

That's all for now! Happy Monday!

Outfit Post: Giving It a Go

Skirt: Forever21. Tope: NY&Company. Shoes: Boscovs

What to wear to work when the humidity is about 98.76445%? Something as loose and comfy as possible. That's how this outfit appeared.  (Well, and I can't resist wearing new clothes as soon as I buy them...)

I'm working on this whole "take my own outfit posts" thing. Not too sure how I feel about it...or if anyone really cares for that matter. Also, my background is rather boring I know. Perhaps if I decide that taking pictures of my outfits is worth it...I'll grow the kahunas to do it in public. We shall see :)

Retail Therapy.

(Dresses, shorts, belt, and button-up: NY&Company. PJ shorts: Aerie. Shoes: Boscovs)
So let me start by saying I've been having a rough time. I also have the best mom ever. So, when I went home last weekend for some family time my mom knew just how to make me feel better. Cocktails + shopping. My mom and I had some martinis (I highly recommend a Lychee Martini) and then went WILD at the mall. This is just part of the loot that I picked up last weekend.

Retail Therapy: works every time.

P.s. those shoes don't look new because I've worn them everyday this week. Comfiest little sandal wedges ever.

Updates!

So in the spirit of getting back into this blogging thing I've updated by blogroll on the right side. I have MANY obsessions that I read everyday so you should check them out! One of my absolute favorites though is What I Wore. She's absolutely adorable and wears clothes that a real woman would wear everyday (she also has a book coming out soon!)

Playing in the woods.

This is what I do when I'm bored. Get lost in the woods and take pictures--well until a group of middle schoolers stumble upon me. Apparently I was in their "meeting place". Woops. Next time, I'll get lost in a different part of the woods...
